Antony is involved in development of strategies and implementation of plans for scale-up of Private Sector Development, Grant and Fund Management, Monitoring and Evaluation sectors in Africa.
He has been consulting within the Eastern African region mainly in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania in addition to the Somaliland and Punt-land regions in the greater Somalia working with public sector (national and local government), donor agencies (DFID, CIDA, SIDA, WB, UN, DANIDA), private foundations (Rockefeller, FORD) and International NGO's as well as private sector organisations (NIC Bank, Prodigy, Jijini). Within the public sector, he has worked in a variety of sectors including agriculture, education, governance, private sector development and human rights. Prior to joining IPE Global, he worked with WYG International based in their Kenya office (also looking after the Tanzania and Somalia markets). In addition, he has worked as an independent consultant with start-ups in both UK and Kenya in the areas of strategy formulation and implementation of systems, structures and processes.
Antony holds an MBA in Finance from University of Wales, Cardiff and has agraduate degree in Management and Information Systems from Daystar University, Kenya. He has undertaken additional professional courses with International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) in Africa and International NGO Training and Research Centre(Intrac) in Oxford, Unted Kingdom.
