Myles has over 30 years of experience and is a world renowned specialist in International Development, Policy and Strategy, Government and Donor Development Policy. He is a former British Ambassador to Ethiopia, Djibouti and the African Union. He has held other key positions as Head of the British Development Division in Eastern Africa responsible for the British Government's development programmes in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda; Head of Secretariat to the Commission for Africa (CfA) during which the Commission’s Report ‘Our Common Interest’ formed the basis of the G8 Gleneagles Communique on Africa. He has also been Special Advisor to the British Parliament's International Development Select Committee and is on the board of a number of NGO's, Trust and Foundations.
